PRONOUNS - There are nine personal pronouns in Urdu. Second and third person plural pronouns are generally used to indicate a degree of respect for, or formality towards the person you are addressing or speaking about. It's advisable to use these forms until you are asked to be more informal.

VERBS - Urdu verbs are conjugated for tense, number, gender and mood. Verbs in the infinitive form are indicated by the addition of the suffix -na to the stem. -na is removed before the verb is conjugated.

Tenses: There are six tenses in Urdu:

present imperfect;
past imperfect;

simple past;

present perfect;
past perfect;

future.
