Salaams all! IT was great watching "Khamosh Pani" as part of a group event. Kudos to Waqar for organising the venue and esp. his repeated trips to his place to get equipment to make it a better experience for all of us! Thanks so much! It is much appreciated. Thanks to Shamsa for providing such a forum for us to have such events and have thought-provoking discussions!
I would also like to thank Salman and Farah for being so kind and providing us city ppl a ride to Suffern...I learnt a lot from our stimulating discussions during the car ride to and from!
In case anyone is interested, we had a very engaging discussion about the socio-economic and political history of Pakistan and Islam.

Thank you all for taking the time to come join us and helping us focus on our love of Urdu. Muna it was finally nice to meet you. Waqar i appreciate your persistence to make this meet up a success. Of course thanks to Salman and Farah for paying those high gas prices to give us ride.

Imaran and Fawad I look forward to conversing in Urdu with you more since it seems you guys are great at it. Thanks for the constant reminders. I too should "emphasize Urdu" more upon myself

The next meet up is January 12th. I picked this date to give everyone a chance to come back and settle in before meeting. On the 12th we will discuss "Khamosh Pani" in Urdu and bring with us a word or verse we would like to learn in Urdu. I still need a location. Any suggestions?
