Introduction
Although I grew up speaking Urdu, my vocabulary and comfort with the language are limited. I am passionate about becoming a better Urdu speaker. By attending Urdu socials I would increase my exposure to Urdu language and culture.
What activities would you be interested in with this group?
I'd be most interested in discussions in urdu about politics, art, theater, world news in an effort to develop a better urdu vocabulary.
How will you contribute to this group?
I would like to attend meetups and practice my Urdu with the other members of this group in an effort to become more comfortable speaking Urdu. I am also interested in art and theater related to South Asia.
What level of Urdu do you speak?
3rd grade level
Are you willing at attend all Urdu meet ups in order to learn and contribute to the group?
I would attend as many meetups as possible, but my schedule is tight as I'm an intern and am often on overnight call.
