Introduction

I moved to NY a couple of years ago and have been so busy with work I haven't really met many people. I'm trying to change that by meeting people who enjoy similar things.

What activities would you be interested in with this group?

I'm looking forward to meeting people in a variety of setting; it would be interesting to explore some of what NY has to offer with the unique perspective of Urdu-speaking group. Food, recreational activities-anything with a social/ education bent.

How will you contribute to this group?

I'm not sure what is meant by this question. I think every individual brings a new and unique perspective to the group and helps mold the overall group dynamic.

What level of Urdu do you speak?

I learned as a child but haven't exercised much in the last few years since I moved away from home / family so I would have to say somewhere between beginner and intermediate.

Are you willing at attend all Urdu meet ups in order to learn and contribute to the group?

I cannot commit to attending all Urdu meetups without knowing of the schedule and how that will fit in with work and other commitments. However when I do respond, I will be there.

Thank you Sadaf for hosting such a wonderful event. The food was good. The people were interesting and I am sure a good time was had by all!
I especially like getting to Central Park just in time to see the fireworks. The timing added to the allure of the evening.
