Introduction

Hi, My name is Bahaar and I'm originally from Utter Pradesh, India. I grew up learning the urdu, hindi language, including the reading and writing aspect of it at home. I reside in Illinois, but I would love to be a part of this wonderful group.

What activities would you be interested in with this group?

whatever activities are offered, and if I'm able to get involved being online or perhaps travelling if feasible.

How will you contribute to this group?

I can be of great assistance in the language. I enjoy speaking it everday at home and listen to ghazal, qawaali's and reading books as well.

What level of Urdu do you speak?

Between General to Advanced

Are you willing at attend all Urdu meet ups in order to learn and contribute to the group?

At the moment, I reside in Illinois, but if it is possible, I will give my time online with great pleasure.

Hello Bahaar! I am actually hoping to learn Hindi - but I am a bit daunted - it is daunting, no? I do speak 7 langauges, but I don't know how I can EVER learn to read & WRITE Hindi! Maybe you will come to the outings - Gasthaus or other? that would be great! Am signed up for Gasthaus ('Zeit zum Essen') and also sushi, next week.
