A scavenger hunt for Vocabulary
Basically we just gather up a whole bunch of words or terms in English / Urdu or any other language and look-up their translation in Urdu, meanings in Urdu and their history. Lets say we come up with any word.... literally... a.n.y ... Read morew.o.r.d

Urdu Shaayari via Ghazals
Let's have a get together where participants can render urdu shaayari but through ghazals. I can have an electronic taanpura and electronic tabla there to assist with sur and taal.

Summertime is a great time to be outdoors and enjoy nature. I would love to have a Picnic in a shaded spot in Central Park. It would be great to get to know our Urdu speaking friends in a relaxed atmosphere. We can bring fruits,soft drinks ... Read more, Chips and dips to share and share our love for the spoken Urdu language.

Keeping in mind it is Summer, we could either meet early (9AM to 12) or later (4 to 7 PM) on a Saturday or Sunday.
