It was a great first activity by the group. We had a good turn out and the choice of the movie was great. We all definitely learned a few things about the language and culture of Pakistan.... Thanks a lot guys for coming out to make this meet-up a success. Happy Holidays!

Great mix of people from all over South Asia and elsewhere. Great conversation and perfect location.

I think we are getting closer to our goal for this group. The group is growing diversly with members eager to learn new words and phrases in Urdu. Our favorite member, Mirza Ghalib will bring a nazum or poem at the next meeting for all of us to learn.

These mehfils are becoming more interesting by every meet up. Once again there were 2 other members in addition to myself. We laughed, conversed in Urdu, learned quite a bit of new words and discussed some ideas on how to make this group more fun. We also decided we will have a meet up every two weeks.
