Khamosh Pani

Dear All,

At the last meetup we agreed to watch a Pakistani film called Khamosh Pani in Urdu and my have English subtitles. A member has kindly reserved a room at the Suffern library for Dec. 10th from 1p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Suffern, NY. The meeting room is next to the cafe and the complete address for the library and directions are below. The meeting room can hold up to 18 people and the library will provide the screen and overhead projector for our use. The library does not allow outside food but the food can be purchased at the cafe at a very reasonable price. I don't think they should object to pop-corn or some snacks.

Train:
Take NJ Transit from New York Penn Station to Suffern, NY. The train schedule can be found on www.njtransit.com. Remember to select Sunday when looking at the schedule. Waqar (our volunteer who kindly booked the room) has a car to pick up guys/gals who take the train from the train station. Or you can take a Bus (no. 59) to the library.

Address:
Suffern Free Library
210 Lafayette Avenue, Suffern, NY 10901
Phone: [masked]

Directions:
From the North and West: Take the NYS Thruway south to Exit 14B (Airmont Rd.). Turn right onto Airmont Rd. At the second light, make a right onto Route 59W (which becomes Lafayette Ave.). Proceed 2 miles and you will see Good Samaritan Hospital on the left and the library on the right. There is a stone wall surrounding the library.

From the South and East: Take the NYS Thruway (I-287) westbound to Exit 14B (Airmont Rd.). Make a left at the end of the ramp. At the 3rd light make a right onto Route 59W (which becomes Lafayette Ave.). Proceed 2 miles and you will see Good Samaritan Hospital on the left and the library on the right.
