Hello Everyone!

The next meet up is Thursday, July 19th. A few people have said they are not available on the weekends or that Sundays at 11 is too early :) So... as promised, I am scheduling this to give those members a chance to attend. I am not available before the 19th, but if anyone would like to meet sooner, please feel free to reschedule this meet up for an earlier date.

One of the members gave me a book on Muhammad Iqbal's Shikwa and Jawab-i-Shikwa (Iqbal's Dialogue with Allah) translated by Khushwant Singh. I have scanned and uploaded it under "files" section. In this book, Muhammad Iqbal's work is written in Urdu and Hindi with translation in English. We can meet to discuss some of these ghazals and perhaps some of you can bring anything you have that you would like to share. I really enjoyed the comical ghazals we heard last time and urge you to bring a few that we can get a good laugh from as well.

I will arrive around 6 pm and we will probably be there until 8:00 or 8:30. These meet ups are always informal. So stop by when you can during this time. Since we are meeting in Bryant Park again, and I'm not making any reservations, come by as you can.

We will meet in the board game section of the Bryant Park located a steps from the corner of 6th avenue and 42nd Street. This is the "pebbles" area. If you are lost, call or text me at 917 607 7346.
